PLN3 metal decking is easy to install, affordable, and strong. The deeper ribs of the deck provide additional support for high wind areas, making it an ideal solution for construction systems that require support for windy environments.

For example, a shear wall is a vertical, cantilevered diaphragm that is used for buildings with wind or seismic lateral loads. The deep ribs of PLN3 metal decks make them a good fit for this application.

Aligned and Enforced Connection Between Steel Panelings

Since the roof panels are joined with PunchLok II, you get added strength to your structures with more secure side lap connections. 

You also have several connection options, depending on your panel dimensions: standard interlocking, nested, or screw fastened side laps.
