As for the thickness of the steel itself, the deck gauge can vary between 16 and 22, and the panels can be joined together with either standard interlocking side laps or screw fastened side laps.
Deep Ribs Enable Better Sound Containment
Traditional roof decking panels are only 1.5” deep. Since N24 sheets have indentations that are twice as deep, it’s much easier to wedge insulation batts along the ribs for sound absorption.
